Greenland Airports
We lay the foundation for safe and memorable travel experiences, striving to make the world more accessible and to foster growth and development within our country and community.
Following the merger of Mittarfeqarfiit and Kalaallit Airports, we have united a strong tradition with a commercial outlook under the unified banner of Greenland Airports. This partnership has not only bolstered our operational capabilities but has also positioned us to navigate a future where growth, sustainability, and customer service are seamlessly integrated into all facets of our operations.
We connect Greenland both internally and with the rest of the world, playing a crucial role in maintaining effective and secure travel options in our majestic, though at times challenging, Arctic climate.
We oversee the infrastructure for air transport and cargo at 13 airports and 46 helipads, spanning the country from Qaanaaq in the north to Nanortalik in the south. We highly value our colleagues, recognizing their skills and their management of the airports. Together, we all share a deep sense of responsibility and dedication for the operations and our daily tasks, regardless of our roles within the organization. We are committed to delivering the best experiences for our customers and passengers, ensuring growth not only for our community and business but also for a sustainable future.
Currently, we are developing and commissioning two new international airports in Nuuk and Ilulissat, as well as a new airport in Qaqortoq, which will modernize our facilities and enhance accessibility to, from, and within Greenland.
Welcome to Greenland Airports – we are the foundation for a good and safe journey.
