Update after the fire in Kulusuk: No long-term impact on operations

We are relieved. The fire in our storage building near the airport in Kulusuk will not, at this point, have any long-term consequences for operations or flights to East Greenland.

The most important airport equipment — including the fire truck, snow removal machinery, and aircraft fuel — is intact.

Our de-icer, diesel tanker, food supplies for the kiosk, emergency provisions for stranded passengers, and various other items that were damaged or destroyed in the fire have been replaced and will arrive with the last ship of the season.

Until the ship arrives, there may be some minor limitations, but we do not expect winter flight operations to be affected.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
