In addition to operating 13 airports and 46 helicopter landing sites, Greenland Airports offers a wide range of additional opportunities at the airports—from advertising for local businesses to services for airlines and other international companies that rely on the airports as key operational hubs.

Greenland is ideally and safely located to serve as an ETOPS and en route airport for any airline.
Our airports are modern, CAA-approved international airports with professional staff and all necessary equipment. Narsarsuaq Airport is certified as Category 7 Airport Rescue Fire Service, while Nuuk Airport and Kangerlussuaq Airport are certified as Category 8 Airport Rescue Fire Service.

Airlines that require Kangerlussuaq or Narsarsuaq airports as ETOPS alternatives can enter into special agreements with Greenland Airports. Such agreements are only made for extended periods of at least three months.

Screens and poster frames are strategically placed in airports, ensuring maximum visibility to over 500,000 travelers using Greenland’s airports throughout the year. This makes the airports an ideal and effective marketing platform.
Both screen advertisements and poster frames allow businesses to tailor their messages to their specific needs. Screens support both still images and video, while poster frames provide a strong and static presence in key airport areas.
Your advertisement will be displayed on all advertising screens in Ilulissat, Sisimiut, Maniitsoq, Narsarsuaq, Kangerlussuaq, Kulusuk, and Upernavik airports. Additionally, poster frames are placed in high-traffic locations. Plans are underway to install more screens in other airports to further enhance exposure opportunities.
Note: At present, advertising opportunities are not available in our new airport in Nuuk. We are working on installing screens in various locations and will provide updates once they are operational.
