Greenland’s airports make the country more accessible. Kangerlussuaq has been a hub for air travel to and from Greenland for many years. But the new airports in Nuuk and Ilulissat will change the flow and open the country up even more – both domestically and internationally.

Direct

Reach most of Greenland within an hour

With the upcoming Atlantic airports, it will be possible to fly directly to cities that aren’t as easily accessible today. Travellers will be able to reach most of Greenland within an hour’s transport by plane, helicopter or boat.

Easy and convenient

Runways of 2,200 metres

The runways in Ilulissat and Nuuk will be 2,200 meters long and capable of handling larger aircraft than have previously served these cities. Modern equipment like ILS CAT 1 will ensure high regularity while One-stop Security will ensure a smooth journey for passengers.
