Parking at the airport

If you need to park for an extended period, please use the free long-term parking lot located on the hill opposite the terminal. The parking area is monitored by cameras, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for our guests.
Soon an automatic payment system for long-term parking will be introduced, where you can then park for free for up to 3 hours in the long-term parking lot.
Directly outside the main entrance, you’ll find our Kiss & Fly area, where you can stop for up to 3 minutes to quickly drop off or pick up passengers.
There are dedicated stops for buses and taxis, allowing passengers quick and safe access to and from the terminal without getting caught in traffic congestion.
The area immediately outside the terminal is an important part of the airport’s security zone. In case of emergencies, rescue vehicles and emergency personnel must have unrestricted and rapid access to the terminal. Therefore, parking in this area is prohibited—only brief stopping is allowed.

You can get to and from Nuuk Airport by bus, taxi or car – keep in mind that you have to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
